Sarav Shiksha Institute (SSI) was established in 2010 with the involvement and support of several individuals, groups of individuals, and non-profit organizations in India. SSI's primary objective is to work for the rehabilitation of children belonging to underprivileged and vulnerable sections of society. They are committed to universalizing elementary education by promoting community ownership of the school system to address the demand for quality basic education across the country.
The institute operates in a mission mode, aiming to provide an opportunity for improving human capabilities to all children, with a strong emphasis on girls’ education and children with special needs. In addition to their focus on quality education, SSI also seeks to bridge the digital divide by providing IT and Vocational Education to the children they serve.
